Information we collect

When you enquire, we collect the event, venue, access, menu and contact information you provide. Your enquiry and calculated estimate are saved before the estimate is shown. A hidden anti-spam field and basic request data may be used to protect the form.

How it is used

Information is used to assess your catering request, contact you, prepare and respond to your quotation request, and plan an event if you proceed. It is not sold.

Who receives it

Enquiries are stored privately on our Krystal hosting account. Enquiry details are sent to Big Pans People and an acknowledgement is sent to you. Email and hosting providers may process data on the business’s behalf.

Possible transfer of ownership

Big Pans People is preparing for a possible handover to new ownership. We will pass the details of your enquiry to the incoming owner so they can contact you about your event only if you choose the separate, optional opt-in on the enquiry form. Submitting an enquiry does not itself give permission to pass your details on.

We record your YES or NO choice, the date and time, and the wording and version you were shown. You can withdraw your permission using the opt-out link in your acknowledgement email or by contacting us. Opting out does not cancel your enquiry or any existing booking. If information has already been passed on before you opt out, contact us so we can help with your request.

Retention and your rights

Unsuccessful enquiries are retained for six months from the date we receive them. Information relating to bookings is kept only as long as needed for the booking, legal obligations and legitimate business records.
